Oct. 9, 1985 – Feb. 4, 2010

On Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, Keenan Slotty, age 24, was called home from Sacramento, Calif.

He will be sadly missed by many, including his parents, Eric Slotty of Waukesha and Stacey Slotty of Madison, and his deeply beloved sisters, Kasandre and Mackenzie Slotty of Waukesha. He is also survived by grandparents Shirley Mueller and Davidine Longhini, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Keenan was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Myron Mueller and Eric F. Slotty.

Keenan’s compassion, winning nature and beautiful smile will be remembered in many hearts. A gifted musician, Keenan excelled at cello and composing, passions that enriched his life and others as well. As a lad, his obsession with Legos was legendary, and he enjoyed many sports, often with Coach Dad at the helm. Keenan enjoyed sharing his love of cooking and his quick wit with others, and brought great joy to many.

Keenan’s short but very full life will be celebrated with a visitation from noon until the 3 p.m. service of comfort Saturday, Feb. 13, at Harder Funeral Home, 18700 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a memorial fund established in Keenan’s name. Contributions will benefit organizations meaningful to Keenan. Gifts may be sent “In Memory of Keenan Slotty” to the Aaron J. Meyer Foundation Inc. at: AJM Foundation Inc., 2349 Deming Way, Suite 300, Middleton, WI 53562.
