Richard B. Hawker passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, at the age of 75.

He was the loving husband for 51 years to Karen (nee Hartwell); beloved dad of Tracy Garvens (Tom Rogers), Lisa (Scott) Ambrowiak and Kristi (Russell) Wallace; awesome grandpa of Shannon, Monica, Erica, Casey and Colby; brother of John (Lynn) and Candice Dankert; son-in-law of Elaine Hartwell; and brother-in-law of Bruce and Jered (Julie) Hartwell. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Virginia Hawker; and father-in-law, George Hartwell.

Richard proudly served our country in the U.S. Army. He retired from Sears after 31 years of service and is a 1983 graduate of Carroll College.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 6 p.m. funeral service Friday, Feb. 19, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 W. Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha. Inurnment will be at Southern Wisconsin Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Union Grove.
