July 11, 1933 – Jan. 26, 2010

Marilyn (Filut) Kunkel was born in Pewaukee on July 11, 1933, to Frank and Martha Filut and married Jack Richard Kunkel on Dec. 22, 1956. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed gardening, aerobics, singing, cooking and watching the Green Bay Packers. Marilyn died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, surrounded by her family in Naples, Fla.

She is missed by family and friends.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Jack; daughters, Chaz (Gerry Steltenpohl) of Stevens Point and Sharon (Jim Seegers) of Pewaukee; grandchildren, Shane (Angie Gritzmacher) and Nathan (Hollie Coates) of Wisconsin Rapids, Jennifer of Pewaukee and Samantha of Pewaukee; great-grandchildren, Kaden, Ty, Hazel and Drew; and one sister, Betty Christopherson of Necedah.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, at Peace United Methodist Church, 12860 North Ave., Brookfield.
