Bethlyn Jane Biddick

Bethlyn Jane Biddick of East Troy passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, at
Angels-Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc. She was 87.
Jane was born in Livingston on Aug. 18, 1922, the daughter of Donald and
Viola (nee Williams) Livingston. She was a graduate of Livingston High
School, received her Bachelor of Science at the University of
Wisconsin-Platteville and a degree in library science from Silver Lake
College in Manitowoc.
On July 1, 1944, she married William E. Biddick in Manassas, Va. William
preceded her in death in 1979.
Jane was a former teacher and librarian at Valders Elementary School in
Valders. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Faith Lutheran
Church Women, Valders Teachers Associations, Lakeshore Spinners and the
Shuttle Craft Weavers. Jane spent countless hours enjoying her hobbies of
sewing, quilting, needlework, reading, spinning, weaving, cooking and
observing nature. She especially enjoyed spending time in the Wisconsin
North Woods and visiting with her friends and family.
Survivors include her children, Cristene (Lyn) Dueholm of Milltown and
Thomas Biddick of East Troy; sisters-in-law, LaMira Riddiough of
Sacramento, Calif., and June Biddick of Madison; brothers-in-law, John
Biddick and family of Madison, Edward (Jean) Biddick of La Crosse and Fred
Grover of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; and other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Joan Grover.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral service
Friday, Jan. 15, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 211 Main St., Mukwonago.
The Rev. Suellen Myers will officiate. Burial will take place at noon
Saturday, Jan. 16, at Rock Church Cemetery in Livingston.
Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice or to any hospice
organization.
