Barbara J. Zastrow of Pewaukee has gone home to the Lord at AngelsGrace Hospice on Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at the age of 62 years after a brief battle with cancer.

Barbara worked at Medical Associates for 26 years.

She was the loving mother of Brenda (Chris) Blessing and Jennifer (David) Labs; proud grandma of Joseph, Matthew, Benjamin, Allison and Alyssa; longtime companion of Al Nass; and the former wife of Richard Kraehnke.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milow and Minnie Zastrow; and her brother, Lyn Zastrow. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be celebrated at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, July 10, at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, N59-W22476 Silver Spring Drive, Sussex. The family will greet friends from 12:30 p.m. until time of the service at 3:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to AngelsGrace Hospice or Waukesha Memorial Hospital Oncology Wing are appreciated.
