John W. Bischel of Dousman died unexpectedly Sunday, July 4, 2010, at age 57.

He was the dear son of Jean (nee Blaesius) and the late Harold Bischel and brother of James, Mary (Jay) Lieblang, Sharon (Donald Jr.) Knaack and Carolyn Bischel. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial Friday, July 9, at St. Bruno Catholic Church, 226 W. Ottawa Ave., Dousman, WI 53118. A burial with military honors will follow at St. Bruno Cemetery.

John was a proud U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam war. In honor of John’s service, memorials to the Clement J. Zablocki V.A. Medical Center would be appreciated.
