WAUKESHA Fredrick T. Ruch Sept. 13, 1939 - July
16, 2010 Fredrick T. Ruch of
Waukesha died Friday, July 16, 2010, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the
age of 70. He was born Sept. 13, 1939, in Waukesha, the son of Frank and
Louise (Seitz) Ruch. He was a lifelong
member at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. After attending St. Joseph’s
Catholic School, he graduated from Catholic Memorial High School in 1957.
Fred went on to study at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He was
employed for many years at Moor Downs Golf Course in Waukesha as a greens
keeper and had worked at Waukesha Engine as a machinist and Olson’s
Power as a small-engine mechanic. He was a mechanical “whiz.” He loved
to fish with his family. Along with his dad, he built a cottage on the
island in Eagle Springs Lake. Fred will be deeply
missed by his sisters, Judith Brierton of Plymouth, Minn., and Dolly
(Bill) Schmitz of Waukesha; nieces and nephews, Lisa Schmitz of Waukesha,
Anne Schmitz of Waukesha, Kristin Dennewill of Spain, Kevin Brierton of
Minnesota, Kerry Wetterling of Minnesota, Keely Travers of Missouri, Kolin
Brierton of Minnesota and Kory Brierton of Minnesota; and other relatives
and friends. He was preceded in
death by his parents. Visitation will be
held from 1:30 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral service Thursday, July 22, at
Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. The Rev. Bill Key
will preside. Graveside services will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
