Norma Lois (nee West) Roys of Waukesha died on Sunday, May 30, 2010, at the age of 78. She was born the daughter of Paul and Mary (Bennett) West on Sept. 13, 1931. Norma was in the 1953 class of Wheaton College, Ill., and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. She married Paul A. Roys on Aug. 2, 1952, in Villa Park, Ill. She was a teacher’s aide for the Waukesha public school system and belonged to Carroll Women of Carroll College. Norma was a regular attendee of the Waukesha Bible Church. She and her husband were members of the Great Lakes Cruising Club.

Norma is survived by her husband, Dr. Paul A. Roys of Waukesha; children, Dean (Eloise) Roys of Nebraska, Joan (Kevin) Paumen of Minnesota, Neal (Julie) Roys of Illinois, and Mark (Julia) Roys of Ohio; and 12 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, as well as nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Edith and Dorothy.

The funeral service for Norma will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 7, 2010, at the Waukesha Bible Church, S53-W24079 Glendale Road, town of Waukesha, WI 53186. The visitation will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church with the Rev. Patrick Griffiths officiating. The committal service will be held at Prairie Home Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
