Jeanne Ann Carlson (nee Landon), 79, died peacefully Saturday, June 5, 2010, at her home with her family at her side. She was born on Dec. 28, 1930.

Jeanne was the beloved wife of the late Henry "Hank" Carlson; dear mother of Linda Andrews and Terri (Joe) Wantz; devoted and loving grandmother of Rachel and Megan Wantz; sister of Rosemary (Marshall) McNett; and aunt of four nieces and two nephews. She is further survived by four stepdaughters, one late stepson, 13 step grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mary Landon.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7:30 p.m. prayer vigil today, June 8, at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, W250-N6505 Highway 164, Sussex. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, at St. James Catholic Church, W220-N6588 Town Line Road, Menomonee Falls (please meet at the church). Burial to follow at St. James-Rosehill Cemetery, Sussex.

Jeanne will be dearly missed by anyone who knew her and was touched by her life.
