Attorney Norman L. Boebel of Mukwonago passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital. He was 82 years old.

Norman was born May 11, 1928, in Sharon, Pa., the son of Paul and Wilma (nee Maso) Boebel.

Norman was a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Law. On Sept. 5, 1953, he married Lois Suby in Whitewater. Norman operated his private law practice in Mukwonago and was the former village attorney for both Mukwonago and Eagle. He was a former senior residential appraiser and a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Mukwonago.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lois; his loving children, David (Nancy), Steven (Debra), Mark (Jane) and Scott; a dear brother, Harris "Jim"; a dear sister, Beverly (Reginald) Hislop; his loving grandchildren, Erin (Joel) Ylvisaker, George Shields, Elizabeth (Ryan) Butryn, and Sam, Susan, Corey and Zachary Boebel; and two cherished greatgrandchildren, Charles and Liberty Ylvisaker. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 6 p.m. memorial service Friday, June 18, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 211 Main St., Mukwonago. The Rev. Suellen Myers will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Mukwonago Fire Department EMTs or to the church are appreciated.
