Kurtis was born March 16, 1956, in Madison, to parents LeMoyne and Jean Krueger. He was a 1977 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. On Feb. 26, 1983, he married his beloved wife, Karen Doermer. Together they raised their three children, Nick, Erik and Kalli, immersed in their faith in Jesus Christ. He enjoyed playing the tuba, boating and spending time outside in the summer.

In addition to his wife of 27 years, Karen, family members include his children, Nick Krueger and fiancee Aubrey Munson, Erik Krueger and fiancee Jennifer Westrich and Kalli Krueger; his parents, LeMoyne and Jean Krueger; his in-laws, John and Marion Doermer; and his sister, Kathy Berg, and husband Ken Berg.

A memorial service will be celebrated at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at Cornerstone Church, N6-W31449 Alberta Drive, Delafield, with a time of fellowship following.

If desired, memorials may be made to the church in Kurtis’ name.
