Hazel G. Watts
Dec. 20, 1920 – June 26, 2010
Hazel G. Watts, currently of Oconomowoc and formerly of Hartland, passed
away Saturday, June 26, 2010, at the age of 89.
She was born in Newton, Scotland, on Dec. 20, 1920, to parents William and
Elsie Greenfield. Hazel was a graduate of Mount Mary College and was a
home economics teacher at Kettle Moraine High School and Kennedy Middle
School in Germantown. She was a longtime member of the First
Congregational Church in Hartland, where she was active in the Vintage
Clothing Circle and the Ladies Circle. Hazel was a member of the Waukesha
County Home Ec Grads Club and was active in the Potawatomi Area Council
Boy Scouts of America.
Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Chester.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean (Rollie) Rosch of Oconomowoc; son,
Ian (Ruthann) Watts of Oconomowoc; her grandchildren, Sean, Mark and Todd
(Angie) Rosch; step grandchildren, Tom (Terry), Brian (Kathleen) and Janet
(Vivek) Legare; great-grandson, Blaine Rosch; and step-great-grandsons,
Seth, Noah, Adam, Justin and Kevin Legare and Max and Gus Balasubramaniam.
She is further survived by her sisters-in-law, Audrey Greenfield, Edith
Watts and Myrna Watts.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters,
Elsie and Lisann; and her brother, Noel.
Visitation will be held from 4:30 p.m. until the 6 p.m. funeral service
Thursday, July 1, at Evert-Luko Funeral Home, 170 Warren Ave., Hartland.
Her final rest will be in Hartland Village Cemetery.
If desired, memorials may be given to the Potawatomi Area Council Boy
Scouts of America.
