Feb. 24, 1949 – June 26, 2010


Rae Ellen Larson (nee Titulear) of Waukesha passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010, after her courageous battle with breast cancer, surrounded by her loving family. She was 61.

Rae Ellen was born Feb. 24, 1949, the daughter of George and June Titulear (Austreng). She was married 32 years to the late Ralph Larson. She enjoyed shopping, playing bingo and going to Cranberry Fest with her sisters and daughters, and spending her time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of St. Mark’s Church in Waukesha.

She will be missed by her loving children: Tracey (Debbie), Heidi (Jeff), Cheri (Jim), Jackie (Eddie), Jamie (Matt) and her only son, Justin; along with her grandchildren, Danielle and Courtney, Frankie, Hadlea and Finnley, Alli and Hannah, Samantha and Nikolai, and Jordan, Jackson and Jonas. She will be sadly missed by her sister, Georgia; brother-in-law, Bill; and especially her great-niece, Matilda Sue; along with her other nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her sisters, Fran and Chris; and brother-in-law, Jack.

Our family would like to send a special thanks to Dr. Strother and the girls at Wheaton Franciscan Cancer Care along with the Hospice Care, who helped our mother and us through this battle she fought long and hard without any complaints. She was one tough lady. Her motto was "I’m gonna Fight, Fight, Fight." In honor of our mother we are asking people to wear PINK.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Thursday July 1, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 W. Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated.
