Nov. 10, 1960 – June 26, 2010


Randy A. Jones, a lifelong resident of Waukesha, died Saturday, June 26, 2010, at LifeCare Hospital at the age of 49. Randy was born Nov. 10, 1960, the son of Wencil and Audrey Jones.

He married the love of his life, Kathie Vrakas, on June 8, 1996. Randy was a member of the RiverGlen Christian Church in Waukesha. He worked in the maintenance department at Walmart for many years. Randy enjoyed volunteering for the Food Pantry of Waukesha County and being a crossing guard at White Rock Elementary School. He was a member of the Waukesha Old Car Club and drove in many of the area holiday parades. He loved Elvis and was a fan of the Badger Land Water Skiers. Randy will always be remembered for his willingness to lend a helping hand.

Randy will be dearly missed by his wife, Kathie; parents, Wencil and Audrey Jones; and brothers, Gary Jones and Larry (Denise) Jones. Randy is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. A second visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Thursday, July 1, at River-Glen Christian Church, S31-W30601 Sunset Drive, Waukesha, WI 53189. The Rev. Ben Davis will be officiating. The burial will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 1, at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha (meet at the cemetery).
