Bruce E. Boettcher Jr., of San Diego, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at his home in San Diego at age 68. He was born Oct. 31, 1941, in Waukesha, the beloved son of Bruce and Geraldine Boettcher.

On Sept. 8, 1962, he married Kathleen S. Boettcher. He was a CPA with his own practice in San Diego and was the tax services director for Bartell hotels in San Diego.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Kathleen Sharon Boettcher of San Diego; daughter, Sheri Kay Boettcher of New Berlin; son, Jason Bruce (Ruby) Boettcher of San Diego; and grandchildren, Mollie Emma Boettcher and Angus Bruce Boettcher, both of San Diego. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Geraldine Boettcher.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 14, at First United Methodist Church, 121 Wisconsin Ave., Waukesha (542-4256). Please call Sheri at 439-9357 for more information. Pastor Fenner will be officiating.
