Raymond Kuhr Sr.

Raymond Kuhr Sr. passed away Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010, at his home in Waukesha at the age of 90.
He was born in Antigo to the late Herman and Gertrude (nee Lightfoot) Kuhr.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Delores (nee Fleischmann), whom he married June 20, 1946, after serving proudly with the U.S. Army during World War II.
He worked for the Waukesha Department of Public Works for 18 years before retiring.
He was the beloved father of Sandy Mikkelson, Rose (Mike) Miller, Raymond W. Jr., Michael (Nancy) and Carol (Glen) Kuhr; proud grandfather of Jason, Anissa, "Mikey T.," Tony, Angela, Candice, Katerina, Nicole, Tabby and Mikey A. W.; and great grandpa of Nicholas, Joey and Taylor.
He will be further remembered by many other relatives and friends.
Raymond was preceded in death by his brothers, sisters and great-grandchildren, Serenitee and Austin.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass at noon on Saturday, March 20, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 822 N. East Ave., Waukesha. Full military honors will follow. Private placement will be held at a later date.
