Evelyn E. Golemgeske
Jan. 10, 1919 – March 27, 2010
Evelyn E. Golemgeske of Waukesha entered eternal life Saturday, March 27,
2010, at Waukesha Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center at the age of
91. She was born Jan. 10, 1919, in Waukesha, the daughter of John and
Minnie (nee Brandt) Deck.
Evelyn owned and operated the Skyway Restaurant near the Waukesha County
Airport for many years. She enjoyed traveling, knitting, crocheting,
plastic canvas, playing bridge and was an enthusiastic Green Bay Packers
fan. She hosted bridge games in her home two to three times a week for
more than 25 years and was a lifelong member of the Evangelical &
Reformed United Church of Christ.
She was the loving mother of Terry (Marna) Golemgeske of Waukesha and
Cindi (Roger) Wiles of Peoria, Ariz. She is further survived by her
grandchildren, Randy (Debbie) Hinkes, Lori (Brian) Menzel, Lisa (Frank)
Knoll, Tim Hinkes and Wendie (Michael) Evans; her seven
great-grandchildren, Matthew, Heather, Michelle, Jacob, Helina, Joshua and
Jackson; and relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Niedermeier, and her
grandson, Steven Hinkes.
Visitation will take place from 5 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service
Thursday, April 1, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave.,
Waukesha. A private interment will be held at Prairie Home Cemetery.
