Marilyn J. Jahnke of Waukesha, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at the age of 78.

Marilyn was born in Milwaukee on Jan. 1, 1932, the daughter of William and Joyce Kukus. Marilyn enjoyed reading, traveling, and listening to music. She looked forward to spending New Year’s Eves at Ho-Chunk with her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Marilyn will always be remembered for her witty sense of humor.

Marilyn will be dearly missed by her children, Andrew (Kris) Dominguez, Jackie (Jim) Fratrick, Jennifer (Terry) Joos and Jean (Paul “Ed”) Heberlein; five grandchildren, Steve, Christina, David, Emily and Nicolas; four great-grandchildren, Courtney, Nicholas, Cierra, and Cheyanne. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, James; father; and sister, Patricia Schmidt.

The funeral service for Marilyn will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2010, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. The visitation will be held from noon Sunday until the time of the 2:30 p.m. service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 3, 2010, at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield (meet at the cemetery in the green parking area).
