Kenneth G. Restall

Kenneth Gordon Restall, 80, died Sunday, April 18, 2010, at his home in Beaver Dam.

A memorial service will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Beaver Dam later this summer on a date to be announced, with a family memorial being held at the home of his daughter, Patti O’Krongly.

Ken was born Sept. 15, 1929, in Thorp, to the late Frank P. Walker and Florence Swim; he was later adopted by Walter Restall. After high school, Ken attended Marquette University in Milwaukee for two years. Ken served in the U.S. Army Field Artillery, 7th Armored Division from 1948 to 1949. He worked in the construction business throughout his life and retired as a project manager. He was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Beaver Dam.

Survivors include his four daughters, Roselyn (Glen) Kok of Arizona, Patricia (Mike) O’Krongly of Waukesha, Diana (John) Sallmann of Waukesha and Samantha Gesell of Arizona; eight grandchildren, Haley (Marc) Julian, Polly (Lance) Looper, Emily (Nate) Fell, Erin O’Krongly, Angela Sallmann, Andrew (Sarah) Sallmann, Dustin Gesell and Hannah Gesell; and three great-grandchildren, Sage, Carver and Harrison Julian.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a great-granddaughter, Katie Angel Fell; and three brothers.
