Dawn D. Phillips, 60, died unexpectedly Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

She will be deeply missed by her guardian, Ethel Marshall, and her family, Katti, Jeff and Tyler Pudleiner, Carla Nicolaus and Anne Foerster of Volunteers of America of Wisconsin, Inc.; John Newman, program manager at Marion House; the staff and residents of Marion House; case manager Kari Leon; and other case managers at Waukesha County Health and Human Services Department.

Dawn is survived by her children, Amanda (Whettam) and Brian; granddaughter, Courtney Whettam; mother-in-law, Jane Phillips; brothers-in-law, James Phillips and Keith Phillips; sister-in-law, Laura; and other relatives and friends.

Dawn was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her father-in-law; parents; and siblings.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service Friday, May 14, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, followed by burial at Genesee Cemetery, Highway 83, town of Genesee.
