Charles S. "Charlie" Davel of Waukesha died unexpectedly
Saturday, May 15, 2010, as the result of an automobile crash. He was 19.
Charlie was born in Waukesha on Jan. 15, 1991, the son of Steve and Bonnie
(nee Ziegler) Davel.
He was a 2009 graduate of Waukesha West High School and was currently
attending the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha, pursuing an education in
architectural engineering.
Charlie was an active member of Our Saviors Wesleyan Church, Mukwonago,
and the UWWaukesha Campus Crusade for Christ. He was also an employee of
Home Depot in Mukwonago.
Survivors include his parents, Steve and Bonnie of Waukesha; his brothers,
Tom (Nicole) Davel and their daughter, Leah, of Englewood, Fla., and Scott
Davel (fiancee Kayla Scheel) of Poynette; his grandparents, Don and Alice
Ziegler of Star Prairie and Jim and Lorna Davel of Menasha; and other
relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, at
Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 315 Main St. (Highway ES), Mukwonago.
Visitation continues from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service
Thursday, May 20, at Our Saviors Wesleyan Church, S93-W30580 Highway NN
(corner of highways NN and EE), Mukwonago. Cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family or to the church are
appreciated.
