Daniel Schmitt, 66, of Friendship, died May 20, 2010, at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship. He was born Nov. 19, 1943, to Roman and Betty (Monroe) Schmitt.

He married Christine Antisdel on Sept. 22, 1984, in Wales.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roman and Betty Schmitt; and one sister, Carol (Ken) Schleicher.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Schmitt of Friendship; daughters, Dana (Bob) Winters of Bancroft and Becky (Bill) Wilde of Oconomowoc; stepsons, Jeff (Renee) Karrasch of Waukesha and Mike Karrasch of Alpharetta, Ga.; stepdaughter, Michele (Tim) Parker of Christiansburg, Va.; four grandchildren; and two brothers, Dick Schmitt of Coloma and Tom (Donna) Schmitt of Gilman. He is further survived by nieces and nephews.
