Daniel G. Gartzke of Florence, formerly of Hartland, was born into eternal life Sunday, May 23, 2010, at the age of 61.

He is survived by his loving partner, Don Tomasini; Nancy Gartzke and their children, Chad (Nicole) Gartzke, Carrie Gartzke, Josh (Diana) Gartzke and Justin (Amy) Gartzke; mother, Dorothy Gartzke; grandchildren, McKenna, Morgan, Macy, Gavin, Evan, Owen, Benjamin, Ethan and Isabelle; siblings, Robert (Karen) Gartzke, Connie (Jerry) Hedberg, Kathleen Stauff and Cynthia Heim. Dan is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded death by his father, Robert Gartzke.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Thursday, May 27, at Church of the Resurrection, W287-N3700 North Shore Drive, Pewaukee, with a funeral service at 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church would be greatly appreciated.
