AUSTIN, TEXAS

Clara Buechler

Aug. 7, 1934 – Nov. 1, 2010

Clara Buechler began her great adventure in Havre, Mont., on Aug. 7, 1934. Although she will be sorely missed, we celebrate the beginning of her new adventure which began Monday, Nov. 1, 2010.

Clara, the daughter of Nicholas and Frances Tautges, was raised in Montana along with her beloved sisters, Genevieve and Margery. She later married William Buechler and settled in Waukesha, where she raised her two children, Susan and Bill. In the 1980s, Clara moved to Colorado where she lived until the birth of her grandchildren, Rachel, Madisen and Grace. In 1996, Clara moved to Austin, Texas, to be with her beautiful granddaughters, her daughter, Susan (husband Bill Burge), and her son, Bill (wife Cynthia).

Clara was all about her family and she loved them with her whole heart. Her greatest joy was taking care of her granddaughters and she was happiest just spending time with them. Clara was a shining example of what a grandmother should be.

Clara’s family expresses its heartfelt gratitude to her wonderful caretakers at the Renaissance Assisted Living Center and to the staff at Hospice Austin.

Memorial donations may be made in Clara’s name to the charity of your choice or to Hospice Austin.

In keeping with Clara’s wishes, no visitation will be held and a private memorial service will be attended by her immediate family.

Clara will be missed and she will be mourned, but we will also celebrate having had her in our lives.
