Margaret L. "Peggy" Merz, 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, at AngelsGrace Hospice.

She was born May 30, 1922, in Milwaukee. On Dec. 7, 1946, she was united in marriage to her beloved husband and soul mate, Roland "Rolly" Merz, and together ran Merz Electrical Service for more than 40 years before passing it on to their sons.

Peggy had a zest for life. If she wasn’t on the golf course, playing cards, baking or twirling across the dance floor, you could find her spending time with her family. Peggy was a member of the Waukesha Service Club for many years. Those that knew her were truly blessed.

She was the loving mother of Mark (Jeanne), Paul (Jayne) and Muffin Merz. She is further survived by seven grandchildren, Noll, Taylor, Kelly (Josh), Karly, Brandon (Shelli), Megan and Nathan; six great-grandchildren, Maddox, Ryland, Asher, Lauren, Cadyn and Alexandria; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Clara (nee Phippen) Milhalovic; husband, Rolly; sister, Betty Konrath; and brothers, Robert Noll Jr. and Virgil Ganz.

A memorial visitation will take place from 2 p.m. until the 4 p.m. funeral service Sunday, Nov. 7, at First Presbyterian Church, 810 N. East Ave., Waukesha.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to AngelsGrace Hospice or The Caring Place would be appreciated.
