Nancy R. Luko (nee Bennett)
April 2, 1934 – Nov. 3, 2010
Nancy R. Luko (nee Bennett) of Hartland, formerly of Wauwatosa, passed
away peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010, at the age of 76. Nancy was the
beloved and devoted wife of Richard "Dick" Luko; loving mother
of Vicki (Del) Buchholz of Hartland, David Luko of Hartland and Gayle
(Jim) Brezonick of Pewaukee; fond grandmother of Andraea (Al) Brynman of
Oconomowoc, Dena Brahm of Oconomowoc, Mallory, Charlie and Abby Luko of
Hartland, Madelyn Brezonick of Pewaukee and Adam Buchholz of Stone Bank;
and special great-grandmother of Eiley, Olyvia and Camryn. She is further
survived by her sister-in-law, Carol (the late Fritz) Pfeiffer; brother in-law,
Don (Judy) Luko; other relatives; and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Vera Kurtz; her father, Don
Bennett; and her sister, Beverly Bennett.
Nancy enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and going to the theater. She was
a "Pink Lady" volunteer at V.A. Hospital for many years. In
addition, she was a former president of the Hartland Women’s Club and a
familiar face at the polls during elections.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until the 4 p.m. funeral Mass on
Sunday, Nov. 7, at St. Charles Catholic Church, 313 Circle Drive,
Hartland.
Memorials are suggested to the Hartland Women’s Club, the Special
Olympics or the St. Charles Food Pantry.
