Michael J. ‘Mike’ Inzeo

May 23, 1931 – Nov. 4, 2010

Michael J. "Mike" Inzeo, a lifelong resident of Waukesha, died peacefully with his family by his side at Waukesha Memorial Hospital on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, at the age of 79. Michael was born May 23, 1931, in Waukesha, the son of Michael and Laura (Rossman) Inzeo. He married the love of his life, Dorothy A. "Dori" (Stoecker) Inzeo, on June 11, 1960.

Mikey is lovingly survived by his wife, Dorothy "Dori"; his children, Jacqui (John) Berg of Waukesha, James (Kelly) Inzeo of Nashville, Tenn., Jeannie (Tony) Spolar of Glendale and Joseph (Tandi) Inzeo of Waukesha; his grandchildren, Alyson (Lukas) Inzeo-Bonus, Anthony Inzeo, Nicholas Inzeo, Angelo Spolar, Jacob Berg and Jonathan Berg. Mikey "Boomer" is also survived by his brothers, Nick "Bunky" (Nancy) Inzeo of Waukesha and Robert "Snapper" Inzeo of Glendale, and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Michael was a longtime member of St. William Catholic Church. He volunteered at Bethesda School for 16 years, where he was called "Grandpa" by all. He was also a member of the Waukesha Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association. Mikey also mentored at-risk kids through the Project S.W.E.E.P. program.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 6 p.m. memorial Mass of Christian burial Monday, Nov. 8, at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev. Curt Frederick will officiate. Private burial will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. William Catholic Church (see above address); Waukesha Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association or Project S.W.E.E.P., both addresses are 1901 Delafield St., Waukesha, WI 53188.
