LeRoy F. Willkomm
LeRoy
F. Willkomm of Pewaukee was born to eternal life Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, at
home with his family at his side at the age of 89.
He was the beloved husband of 64 years of Ursula (nee Schwoerer); loving
father of LeRoy J. (Mary) of Milwaukee, Kenneth of Kewaskum, Dennis of
Pewaukee, John (Donna) of Sussex, Robert of New Berlin and Ann of
Pewaukee; dear grandfather of Mark, Steve, Ken, Jaime, Scott, Tom, Dan,
Sara and Katy; and proud great-grandfather of Kailey, Dominic and Skyler.
He is further survived by special friends Jerry and Rita Nordmark, other
relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Eva (nee Hosp) Willkomm;
daughter, Carol Mueller; and daughter-in-law, Jean Willkomm.
LeRoy was a Teamster truck driver, retiring after 38 years of service,
spending a majority of the time with Motor Transport Co. beginning in
1948. He was an avid sheepshead player. He loved to play baseball and fish
with his children and grandchildren, which included putting worms on the
hook and untangling lines.
LeRoy was a member of Queen of Apostles Catholic Church and Teamster Local
200 retirees.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Nov. 10, at Yonke
& Son Funeral Home, 205 Prospect Ave., Pewaukee. Visitation continues
from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial Thursday, Nov. 11,
at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church, N35-W23360 W. Capitol Drive,
Pewaukee, with the Rev. Michael Grellinger officiating. Interment will be
at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
