Marjorie Rose Bricco

Marjorie
Rose Bricco of Elton died Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at Virginia Health Care
Center in Waukesha. She was 89 years old. She was born May 30, 1921, in
Elton, a daughter of the late John A. and Emma (Juetten) Wurzer.
She attended Elton Grade School. While she was a housekeeper for the
rectory in White Lake, she met the love of her life, Leonard Bricco. The
couple were married May 24, 1941, at St. James Catholic Church in White
Lake. He preceded her in death June 5, 1999.
She was a member of the Anderson-Sather American Legion Auxiliary Post
#524, White Lake, the Altar Society at St. James Catholic Church and the
Yup Club. She retired from Sentry Foods in Fond du Lac where she was a
manager of the delicatessen. She enjoyed cooking, flower gardening and
Friday night fish fries with her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Hanke of Waukesha and Catherine
Ramer of Elton; a son, James (Lois) Bricco of Neenah; seven grandchildren,
Chad Hanke, Jodi Hanke, Troy Hanke, Andy (Dawn) Bricco, Terry (Brenda)
Bricco, Jacob Ramer and Adam Ramer; eight great-grandchildren; two
sisters, Mary Maurer of Cleveland, Tenn., and Theresa (Robert) Schmidt of
Melbourne, Fla.; two brothers, John (Frances) Wurzer of Antigo and Edward
(Virginia) Wurzer of Appleton; three sisters-in-law, Carol Wurzer of
Elton, Shirley Wurzer of Racine and Mary "Dolly" Thomas of
Lakewood; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was
preceded in death by a sister, Vera Eschenbauch; three brothers, Eugene,
Henry and Cyril; a son-in-law, Stewert Hanke; and two brothers-inlaw,
Donald Eschenbauch and Eugene Maurer.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial Mass on
Saturday, Nov. 13, at St. James and Stanislaus Parish, White Lake. A
private family burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, Elton.
Memorials may be directed to the St. James and Stanislaus Catholic Church
or the charity of the donor’s choice.
