Aug. 26, 1928 – Nov. 10, 2010

Arlien Kathleen Dieringer, 82, of Shiocton, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, in Shawano. Arlien was born in Milwaukee on Aug. 26, 1928.

She lived in the Milwaukee area until 1959 when she moved to Waukesha where she raised her children. In late 1985, Arlien made her final move to the Shiocton area.

Arlien is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (John) Plotz of Waukesha; her son, Wayne (Sarah) Dieringer of Waukesha; four grandchildren, Matthew (Traci) Plotz, Kerry (Keith) Solum, Elizabeth Dieringer and Rachael Dieringer; and three greatgrandchildren, Andrew, Thomas and Emily.

Arlien was preceded in death by a son, Garry Dieringer; former husband, Wayne F. Dieringer; a brother, Marvin Rockett; and a sister, Margie Hillsburg.

Visitation will be held from noon until the 1 p.m. memorial service Sunday, Nov. 14, at Swedberg Funeral Home, 518 W. Fifth St., Shawano.

A memorial fund in Arlien’s name has been established with the American Heart Association.
