Harold S. Hunt of Waukesha, formerly of Madison, died Wednesday, Nov. 10,
2010, at Merrill Hills Manor at the age of 84. He was born April 24, 1926,
in Santa Monica, Calif., the son of Sylvester and Irona (Wright) Hunt.
Harold attended Hollywood University High School in
Santa Monica and then joined the Army Air Corps. On Aug. 22, 1946, he

Florida during the winter months.
Harold loved eating out, enjoyed a good meal and was a
patron of Madison’s Red Lobster and Denny’s.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Susan (Stephen) Kerkhof of Waukesha, and granddaughters, Sarah (Robert) Schmadl of Cudahy
and Stephanie (Sgt. Matthew) Riegel of Elkhorn. He is further survived by
other relatives and friends, including his granddogs, Ginger and Winston.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mertice Hunt, on
Jan. 31, 2009; an infant sister, Alma Marie Hunt; and sister, Mildred (the
late Irvin) Hunt Wolford.
A private family service will be held.
