SEYMOUR, TENN.

Dennis G. "Dink" Kappel, 73, of Seymour, Tenn., formerly of Wisconsin, joined his family Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010.

He worked at American Motors and was a mudjacker.
   He was preceded in death by father, Elmer; mother, Mildred "Pinky" Brach (nee Kelly); two brothers in youth and his other brother, Wayne; sisters, Ginger Schultz and Wendy (brotherin-law Don Dalzel); son, Danny; stepfather, Kenny Brach; father-in-law, Deane Hall; and his dog, Brandy.

Survivors include his wife of more than 19 years, Carol; children, Don, Debbie and Dawn, Tom and Peggy Hayden, Jamie (Amy West), Steven Hayden and Lynn Kappel; 20-plus grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Vicki; sister-in-law, Hannalore; mother-in-law, Betty Hall; Carol’s brothers and sister; favorite niece, Karen (my barber); dog, Dutches; and other relatives and friends.

A memorial dinner of life will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at The Loft & Chapel At Cedar Ridge, N7-W23827 Bluemound Road, Waukesha (547-2300).
