Donald Honeyager, 88, passed away Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, in Wyoming, Mich. He was surrounded by the family he loved so much.

Don is survived by his children, Jeff Honeyager and Cheryl (Bill) Grimes; his grandchildren, Cameron, Celeste and Cassidy Honeyager, Kathleen (Stephen) Menyhart, Colleen (Charlie) Whipple and Karla Grimes; and a great-granddaughter, Simone.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Adele; parents, William and Anna Honeyager; and sisters, Emily (Sanders), Dorothy "Sis" Pagel and Jean Levreau.

Don was born in Dousman. He lived in Waukesha for nearly all his life. He moved to Grand Rapids, Mich., 10 years ago to be closer to his family. Don proudly served his country as a front-line medic in the 78th Infantry Division. Because of his heroic efforts, he received a Bronze Star. He retired from International Harvester while working as a purchasing agent for more than 45 years. Daddy-o, you the best "Santa" that ever visited us. At his request there were no services.
