NORTH PRAIRIE Mildred E. Simon Jan. 7, 1916 – Nov. 24, 2010 Mildred E. Simon, 94, of North Prairie, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at LindenGrove in Mukwonago. Millie was born Jan. 7, 1916, in North Prairie, to Fred and Martha (Klatt) Dable. She married Dr. Robert L. Simon on Dec. 22, 1956, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in North Prairie. She lived her entire life in North Prairie, was a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in North Prairie and was an active member of St. John’s Ladies Aid. Millie is survived by her loving nephews, nieces and many friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, “Doc,” on March 4, 1998; and her five brothers, Leslie (Esther), Bernard (Catherine), Robert (Lillian), Edwin (MaryRose) and Raymond (Rose). Visitation will be held from 2:30 p.m. until the 4:30 p.m. funeral service Sunday, Nov. 28, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 312 N. Main St., North Prairie, with the Rev. Bryan O’Conner officiating. Private burial will be held Monday, Nov. 29, at North Prairie Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
