Lawrence L. ‘Larry’ Hause

Lawrence L. “Larry” Hause of Waukesha died at home Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at the age of 67. Lawrence was born Dec. 7, 1942, in Waukesha, the son of Loyal and Carol (Sevenz) Hause. He married the love of his life, Nancy (Johnson) Hause, on May 31, 1969.

Larry attended Marquette University, where he got his Ph.D. in biomedical engineering. He worked at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Cass Biomedical Firm, Brewer Company of Menomonee Falls and GE Medical. Larry started his own company in 1994 called Diagnostic Visions. As of late, he taught electronics at ITT Tech. Larry also was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, where he enjoyed singing in the choir. He was a lifetime member of the IEEE Society and volunteered with 4-H, helping with the photography for 20 years. Larry was very involved in SAGBRAW biking tours and was a longtime judge for dog field trials. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and skiing. Larry loved life and lived it to the fullest.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Nancy; his children, Anne Hause of Waukesha, Michael Hause of Detroit, Laura (Matt Sneeden) Hause of Fort Worth, Texas, and Patrick John “PJ” Hause of Dousman; his sister, Lynn (Charles) Zimmerman of Juneau; sister-in-law, Marge (Ian) Williamson of Naples, Fla.; brother-inlaw, Robert (Marge) Johnson of Chicago; and his dear friends, Angela Ritonia-Peot and Billy Perry. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 6 p.m. funeral Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, Nov. 29, at St. Paul Catholic Church, S38-W31602 Highway D, Genesee Depot. The Rev. Mark Molling will officiate. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Waukesha.
