Frederic K. Lake, 53, of East Troy, passed away
unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010.
Fred was born Aug. 14, 1957, the son of Frederic
and Carol Lake. He was a lifelong resident of the Eagle/East Troy area.
Fred married Debara Freund on June 13, 2009, in Portland, Ore. He was a
member of the Local 78 International Association of Machinists and
Aerospace Workers and was employed for many years at Maintenance Service
Corp. He had a love for steam engines and enjoyed going to flea markets,
antiquing and restoring things.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debara of East
Troy. He was the cherished son of Carol Lake of Eagle; special father to
Devon and Britnee DeCamp of Portland; and beloved brother of Virginia
(Dennis) Jost of Oak Creek, Rita (John) Lackovich of Bloomington, Ill.,
and Mark Lake of Eagle. Fred was loved and will be remembered by
relatives, many dear friends and his special furry friend,
"Levi."
He was preceded in death by his father, Frederic;
grandparents, Scott "Gumpa" and Clara "Gumma" Lake and
Henry and Lea Bergstrom; uncles, William and Herb Lake and Roy Kern; and
his cousin, Herbie Lake.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the 1
p.m. funeral service Wednesday, Dec. 1, at Mealy’s Funeral Home, 103 W.
Eagle St., Eagle, with the Rev. Lawrence Turner officiating. Burial will
follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
