Max Kurz, 93, of Waukesha, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010.

He was the beloved husband of Kay Kurz; dear father of Robert (Pamela Alexander) Kurz and Mark (Barbara Haskell Kurz) Kurz; fond brother of the late Ruth Klein; loving grandfather of Rebecca and David Alexander Kurz, and Nellie and Olivia Kurz; and cherished uncle of Marilyn Klein-Larson.

Max was a professor emeritus at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Graveside services were held Monday, Nov. 29, at Mound Zion Cemetery, 14510 W. North Ave., Brookfield.

Memorial gifts to the UW-Milwaukee School of Social Welfare, Retzer Nature Center or Lad Lake are appreciated.
