Jane Williams (nee Harris) of Waukesha passed away in the morning hours of Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, at her home surrounded by family. She was 92.

Jane was born in Elkhorn on Oct. 11, 1918, a daughter of the late Robert Bruce and Gertrude (Desing) Harris. A graduate of Carlton College, Jane was later married to Warren C. Williams and together they raised a son and daughter. Jane was a social member for many years of Merrill Hills Country Club and enjoyed fishing and gardening. She was also an avid bridge player, however her greatest joy was time spent with family. She will be sadly missed.

Jane is survived by her son, Douglas Williams of Milwaukee, and her daughter, Sally Williams of Waukesha. She will also be remembered by her grandchildren, David and Pamela Kososki, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Warren.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, at Prairie Home Cemetery, 605 S. Prairie Ave., Waukesha. The Rev. Scott Leannah will be officiating. Please meet at the cemetery office.
