Jan. 13, 1932 – Oct. 23, 2010

Eileen P. Muth died peacefully Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at the age of 78. She was born on Jan. 13, 1932, in Milwaukee and was raised in Pewaukee.

She attended Waukesha High School and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She taught school in Waupaca and West Allis and at UWLa Crosse, where she spent most of her years teaching until her retirement in 1998.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eileen and Alfred Muth; and two brothers, Bob and John.

She was the beloved sister of Mary Lee (Dale) Stark, Ellin (James) Monogue, Joanne Whitehurse and James Muth. She was a loving and devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews.

After her retirement, she moved to Fort Myers, Fla., where she enjoyed many years of golf, tennis and traveling. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends in La Crosse and Fort Myers.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson until the celebration of life funeral Mass begins at 11 a.m.
