Arthur R. Schuh Jr.
Arthur Schuh Jr., 54, of Wausau, died
Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, following a two-year bout with cancer.
He was the son of Arthur and Patricia Schuh of the Town of Genesee. He was
born in Waukesha and graduated from Waukesha South High School and Carroll
College, from which he received a Bachelor of Science degree. He received
a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He taught
special education students at D.C. Everest High School in Schofield.
Art was an avid outdoors person, golfing, hiking, camping in the summers,
skiing and snowshoing in the winters. He was a world traveler and took
exotic, adventure-type trips almost every summer.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Mary (nee Abts);
his brother, Tim (Linda) of Campbellsport; sister, Mary (Jeff) Heldorfer
from Badger, Iowa; nephews Joshua Schuh and Grant Heldorfer; nieces,
Sierra and Erika Schuh and Silvia and Evie Heldorfer; and many aunts,
uncles, cousins and friends.
His parents will have a Mass said for him at 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31, at
St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Genesee Depot, at the corner of highways
83 and D. The church will be open at 4 p.m. for visitation with family
members.
