Carol M. Zindars

M. Zindars, 64, of Watertown, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 1,
2010, at her home.
The former Carol Mary Prochazka was born in Chicago on Dec. 21, 1945,
daughter of Edward and Emily (Peca) Prochazka. On June 27, 1964, she
married Daniel Zindars at St. Joan of Arc Church in Okauchee.
Carol graduated from Oconomowoc High School in 1963 and attended Waukesha
County Technical College in Waukesha for the secretarial program. She had
been employed at Ben Franklin Crafts in Oconomowoc.
Carol was a member of St. Bernardís Catholic Church. She loved her
family and pets and enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Dan Zindars of Watertown; a brother,
Edward Prochazka of Watertown; sisters-in-law, Virginia (Bob) Kruegel of
Lake Havaso City, Ariz., Mary Lee Prochazka of Watertown, Maxine Zindars
of Oconomowoc and Dorothy Zindars of Arkdale; brothers-in-law, Ken (Lynn)
Zindars of Watertown and Frank (Doreen) Zindars of Oconomowoc; nephews,
Eddie and Richie (Lynn); niece, Teresa (Brett); and other nieces, nephews,
relatives and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Richard; a twin
sister at birth; and two nephews, Matthew Zindars and Jason Zindars.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian
burial Tuesday, Sept. 7, at St. Bernardís Catholic Church in Watertown,
with Monsignor Daniel Ganshert presiding. Burial will be in St. Bernardís
Catholic Cemetery in Watertown.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Carolís name may be given to the
Watertown Humane Society.
