Sister Mary Claire Aldridge, 65, of Stoughton (formerly of Milwaukee), passed away Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, at the Nazareth Health and Rehab Center. She was born Nov. 18, 1944, the daughter of the late Ralph and Clara (nee Chaney) Aldridge.

Sister Mary Claire worked as a nurse for many years for Milwaukee County. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Milwaukee.

She is survived by her siblings, Marie Wrazel of Whitewater, Sister Jane Frances of Janesville, Larry Aldridge of Whitewater, Mardene (Richard) Wooley of Richmond and Marlene (Carl) McCanna of Janesville. Sister Mary Claire is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial Wednesday, Sept. 8, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 919 W. Main St., Palmyra, with the Rev. Jay Poster officiating. Entombment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 3801 W. Morgan Ave., Milwaukee. Please meet at the cemetery for the entombment.
