Espiririon ‘Chico’ Hurtado
Espiririon "Chico" Hurtado of Waukesha passed away peacefully at
home Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, surrounded by family.
In 1945, he enlisted in the military, proudly serving his country in the
U.S. Army while stationed in Guam. He worked for International Harvester
in Waukesha for more than 40 years until retirement. Chico was a member of
the D.J. Martin American Legion Post 8 and Soat-Vergenz VFW Post 721, and
was a longtime member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
He was the beloved husband to Virginia (Monreal) Hurtado; loving father to
Danny, Johnny and Helen Hurtado, Debbie (Jerry) Hughes, Ramona (Tom) White
and Elaine Wildes; loving grandfather to Kevin (Jr.), Ben, Clayton,
Melissa, Anthony, Dennis (Jr.) Kimberly and Shawna; and six
great-grandchildren. He was also a loving brother to Vicki Herrera and
John and Felix Hurtado.
Chico was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Irene Eve Hurtado;
son-in-law, Dennis Wildes Sr.; brother, Philip Hurtado; and sister, Mary
Cervantes. Private family services are being held at Randle-Dable Funeral
