Keith Ackerman, 52, of Jefferson, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010.
Keith is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Linda, and his son, Kyle
Ackerman of Waukesha. He is also survived by his mother, Jill (stepfather
Walter) of Venice, Fla.; brother, Scott Ackerman of Venice; sister,
Heather (Michael) Cosky of Atlanta; mother-in-law, Rose Popanz of
Englewood, Fla.; brother-in-law, Mike Popanz of Englewood; sisters-in-law,
Angie of Albermarle, N.C., and Dawn Shaw of Sarasota, Fla.; along with
many nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.
Keith is preceded in death by his father, Richard Ackerman.
Keith was born in Venice on Aug. 20, 1958, to Richard and Jacqueline
Ackerman. He graduated from Venice High School and then went on to
graduate from Florida State University. After graduation, Keith and Linda
lived in Tallahassee, Fla., and then moved to the Lake Country area 15
years ago. Keith has worked in the software business for his entire
career, and for the past 15 years for Software One, where he was a mentor,
a leader and a friend who has inspired many associates along the way. In
Keith’s spare time, he loved being an avid amateur photographer. He was
a passionate gardener, a certified storm watcher and was a sand hill crane
watcher/counter.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. celebration of
Keith’s life Saturday, Sept. 11, at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 E.
Summit Ave., Oconomowoc.

Keith was a very loving husband, father, son, brother and dear friend who
was loved by many and will be missed by all.
