Joseph J. "Joe" Marone II of Jackson, formerly of Waukesha, died
Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at his home at the age of 58. He was born Aug.
25, 1952, in Waukesha, the son of James and Ruth (nee Rich) Marone.
He attended St. Mary’s Grade School in Waukesha and graduated from Don
Bosco High School in Milwaukee. With a love of people, Joe enjoyed his
lifelong career in sales, working for Sysco Foods and later for
Performance Foods. In his spare time, he loved cooking, fishing and
especially spending time at his cabin in the Upper Peninsula. Joe will be
fondly remembered for his love of life, contagious laugh and his favorite
saying, "It is what it is."
Joe will be deeply missed by his children, Danya (Dan) Dallapiazza of
Germantown, Joseph J. "Joey" (Trina) Marone III of North
Carolina and Tony (fiancee Natasha) Marone of Delafield; grandchildren,
Hayden and Enzo; sisters, Angeleene Marone Butler of Waukesha and Mary Ann
(Bob) Farner of Arkansas; special friend and caregiver, Richard Rose of
Ohio; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and many good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother in-law, Jim Butler.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral Mass on
Monday, Sept. 13, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave.,
Waukesha. The Rev. Howard Haase and the Rev. Jeff Haines will
concelebrate. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Catholic
Cemetery.
