William D. ‘Bill’ James

William D. "Bill" James, 90,
joined his beloved wife, the late Geraldine I. James, on Monday, Sept. 20,
2010.
He was the loving father of Pat (Jean) of Saginaw, Texas, Margaret (Zastrow)
(Tom) Kinsey of Hartland, Tom (the late Mar Alice) of Wausau and William
D. (Denise) II of Sussex; and the proud grandfather of Dawn, Paula, Gregg,
Colleen, P.J., Jenny, Brian, Sara, Lindsay and Kelsey. He is further
survived by his great-grandchildren, Brianna, Danielle, Ashley, Lance,
Nicholas, Megan, Lexi, Aliya, Mason and Paige.
Bill served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a world-traveled
gemologist. He worked in sales for Kaiser Aluminum and Follansbee Steel
and was the owner-operator of the Esch-Baldwin Co. He was a published
author who lived on Moose Lake for 50 years and prided himself as being
the first one in and the last one out of the water each year.
Visitation will be held from 3:30 p.m. until the 5 p.m. memorial service
Friday, Sept. 24, at Evert-Luko Funeral Home, 170 Warren Ave., Hartland.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s
choice in Bill’s name.
