Jeffery H. Ladwig, of Waukesha, died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 65. He was born Nov. 18, 1944, in Milwaukee, to Harold and Margaret (nee Molin) Ladwig.

On Sept. 12, 1964, he married Sharon (nee Peck). He had been a truck driver for CTI and, most recently, Roundy’s. He was a former member of Big Bend Community Baptist Church, and for the past nine years has attended First Baptist Church in Waukesha. Family was very important to Jeff and he rarely missed his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events. Jeff’s true passion in life was trucking, until his retirement when his passion became his family and grandchildren.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Sharon of Waukesha, along with their children, Corey (Angela) Ladwig of Mukwonago, Craig (Sara) Ladwig of Cascade and Stacy (Eric) Range of Waukesha. He was the proud grandfather of Justin, Tyler, Bryce, Evan, Brianna, Mackenzie, Kylen, Charlotte and Keegan. He is further survived by his brother, Roger Ladwig of Madison; sister, Janice (David) Bielfuss of Waukesha; mother-in-law, Ethel "Beth" Peck; brother-inlaw, Frank (Julie) Peck of Big Bend; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Rick Peck; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Winegarden; his four-legged companion, Bear; as well as his parents.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until the 6 p.m. memorial service Sunday, Sept. 26, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha.
