Faye A. Crouse (nee Brechlin)

Faye A.
Crouse (nee Brechlin) of Hartford went home to the Lord on Wednesday,
April 13, 2011, at the age of 74.
Faye was born July 25, 1936, the daughter of Elmer
and Rose Ann Brechlin in Milwaukee. She graduated from Waukesha High
School’s Class of ’55. Faye married the love of her life, Darwin C.
Crouse, on June 2, 1956.
Faye was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church
of Waukesha for 74 years. She was a choir member, a conductor at the
welcome station, a head counter and member of the Sarah Circle and Forever
Forty. Faye worked at Waukesha State Bank, was the secretary to the
president of Waukesha Foundry and was a radiology technician at Waukesha
Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed camping, fishing and golf. Most of all, she
loved spending time with family.
Faye is lovingly survived by her husband of 54
years, Darwin; children, Erlane (Craig) Skoug and Chana (Dennis) Hoffmann;
grandchildren, Charlene (Gregg) Miller, Alisha (Josh) Harris, Ashley Skoug,
Laura, Samantha, T.J. McGargill, Caitlin and Jacob Hoffmann;
great-grandchild, Daytona McGargill, and three great-grandchildren to be
here soon. She is further survived by cousins, other relatives and many
friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until the 4
p.m. funeral service Sunday, April 17, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church,
300 Carroll St., Waukesha, WI 53186. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday,
April 18, at Prairie Home Cemetery, 605 S. Prairie Ave., Waukesha. Please
meet inside the gates.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated
to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church (see address above).
The family would like to give thanks to Asera Care
Home Hospice and it’s staff, Heather, Jodi and the Rev. Scott Hatfield;
Dr. Federico Sanchez and staff; and the pastors of St. Luke’s, Pastors
Gary Liedtke and Kathy Boadwine.
Darwin would personally like to thank his
daughters, Erlane and Chana, their husbands, grandchildren and Faye’s
cousins, Kathy and Rob, for their loving care and support.
