MaryAnn Brisk of Waukesha died Thursday, April 28, 2011, at the Virginia Health and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 81.
She was born on March 23, 1930, to Elmer and Marie (nee Brattebo) Wright. She had been a member of Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ since 1952. She lived at 801 N. East Ave. since 1997. She had a passion for bowling and bowled on leagues at Totem Bowl. She was also a member of the Waukesha Bowling Hall of Fame, where she was Sergeant at Arms. She enjoyed playing bingo at the Elks Lodge, Potawatomi Bingo and St. Luke’s Catholic Church.
She will be sadly missed by her sons, Jeffrey (Jo Ellen) Brisk of Waukesha and Roger (Gina) Brisk of Mukwonago. She was the cherished grandmother of Amanda Brisk. She is further survived by her brother, Eugene (Peggy) Wright of Titusville, Fla., other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard in 1997 and sister Eleanor Larson in 2004.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service Tuesday, May 3, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. The Rev. Ralph Schultz will be presiding. Burial of cremated remains will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery on Wednesday. Graveside services will be private for the family only.
