WAUKESHA Doris J. Biever Jan. 7, 1923 – Aug. 8, 2011 Doris J. Biever of Waukesha, formerly of Dousman, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2011, at the Virginia Health & Rehabilitation Center at age of 88. She was born Jan. 7, 1923, in the town of Genesee, a daughter of Thomas and Marietta (nee Williams) Jones. She worked at Wern Farms for many years as a bookkeeper, where she met her husband, Everett “Tony” Biever. They were united in marriage Aug. 23, 1947, in Genesee; he preceded her in death Aug. 4, 2011. Doris was a 25-year charter member of Highview Presbyterian Church and a previous member of Ottawa Presbyterian Church. She will be sadly missed by her son, Tom (Deborah) Biever of Waukesha; granddaughter, Leah (Dennis) Hohisel of Waukesha; and her great-grandchildren, Connor and Jackson Hohisel of Waukesha. She is further survived by her sister, Hazel (Norman) Johnson of Delafield; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara Hargrave and Helen Jones, and her parents. | Visitation and services will be combined with her husband Everett “Tony” Biever’s services, who died Thursday. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. memorial service today, Aug. 9, at Highview Presbyterian Church, S50-W33042 Highway GE, Dousman. Interment will immediately follow at Salem Cemetery in Wales. Memorials are appreciated to the family.
